Ben Du

Research Coordinator

Ben is a research program coordinator investigating the therapeutic effects of psilocybin for obsessive-compulsive disorder under the guidance of Dr. David Yaden; researching the use of ecological momentary assessment to predict short- and long-term outcomes of substance use disorder inpatient treatment with Dr. Justin Strickland; and aiding in data management and harmonization at the CPCR. He was previously a student intern but transitioned to a full-time role after graduating from Johns Hopkins University with degrees in psychology and public health. Ben is fascinated by the potential for psychedelics to treat bipolar disorder and to promote overall well-being. In the future, he hopes to pursue a PsD or PhD in clinical psychology, as well as further develop his programming and data analytics skills and knowledge.
