Luna Crowley

Research Coordinator

Luna Crowley is a research program coordinator investigating the therapeutic effects of psilocybin on alcohol use disorder and major depressive disorder. She works under the guidance of Dr. Fredrick Barrett. 

Graduating from Northern Vermont University, she studied Holistic Health and double minored in Chemistry and Anthropology. Luna is currently in a master’s program studying Psychoactive Pharmaceuticals at the University of Wisconsin- School of Pharmacy and has future plans to pursue an MD.

Luna has an embodied interest where Eastern and Western healing modalities intersect. She believes this research can be the cultural translator which quantifies and grafts psychedelic assisted therapy to Western medicine.

Spending her summers captaining sailboats since she was 19, she finds joy in connecting with nature through sailing, snowboarding and gardening. Along with the outdoors, music, art and travel nourish her.
