Katherine Neidorf, LCSW-C

Katherine Neidorf, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and communities facing complex psychosocial needs across clinical, educational, and international settings. She provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults in private practice, with a focus on trauma, attachment, and complex life transitions. Her clinical interests include trauma-informed and attachment-based therapies, serving youth and adults. Katherine has held leadership and clinical supervision roles supporting multidisciplinary teams working with survivors of trauma, violence, and exploitation. Prior to returning to clinical practice, she served as a Senior Technical Advisor for Child Safeguarding at USAID and as an international consultant on child protection, safeguarding, and mental health with organizations including UNICEF and the World Health Organization. Her interests in psychedelic research grew from her clinical work with individuals participating in  clinical trials and her interest in the potential of psychedelic therapies to facilitate healing, insight, and meaningful change. She is particularly interested in the intersection of trauma, attachment, and psychedelic-assisted therapies and in advancing compassionate, evidence-based approaches to mental health care.
