Johns Hopkins Psilocybin Study Seeking Healthy Research Participants
Researchers at Johns Hopkins University are conducting a study on the effects of psilocybin—a naturally occurring psychoactive compound found in certain mushrooms—and its interaction with other medications that share similar pharmacology. The study will examine how psilocybin influences mood when administered alongside these medications. Participation involves a psilocybin session, frequent blood draws to measure drug levels, and several follow‑up assessments.
Compensation
Participants may receive reimbursement for travel expenses and can earn up to $550 for completing study-related activities.
